M3100 - MP3 Alarms, Text Notification?

I've installed ringtones on my M3100, the same as other SPV's, but can I use MP3's for text message alerts and alarms etc?

You can either right click MP3's from anywhere to set as a ringtone or you can put WAV or MP3's in the windows rings folder for ringtones but you can only use WAV's for message notifications and they should be in the windows folder.
