Guest finisterre Posted August 19, 2006 Report Posted August 19, 2006 Sometimes when wifi is available it still invokes GPRS. Thanks.
Guest jimbouk Posted August 19, 2006 Report Posted August 19, 2006 It should default to wifi if its connected anyway. If you have directpush, disable it whilst connected to wifi. Make sure that all existing browsers, mail apps, any web enabled apps (like messenger) are all properly shut (settings, system, memory, running programs - otherwise they may prompt the device to use the gprs/3g connection you were using with them. Sometimes it does need a soft reset to be sure.
