I ordered it money, it arrived on tuesday but...

they failed to activate the sim, so I couldnt use it. They said it will take 3 days to activate, and would take 28 days for a network unlock code to be issued (but it would be

Surely T-Mob have some kind of replacement policy if the handset dies so soon after getting it? Orange have a 28 day no-quibble replacement policy for any manufacturer fault.

As for flashing the TyTn ROM, i may (probably) be mistaken, but weren't they heavily affected as well?

As Mono says faulty device! Ring T and demand a replacement.

And haven't they activated your sim yet?

They have sold them all. Im trying HTC direct as I dont want to send it off.

so you'd rather pay HTC money to fix your ppc, (meaning you'll be without it for a few weeks), rather than be without a ppc you cant really use?

send it back to t-mob.

Things are looking better :D

T-Mob are gonna courier a swap to my work address tomorow... it seems they keep a secret stock for this, so I wont be hermes-less

Mmm, not a great start though. Having to convince them they've sold you a dodgy product, and tbh 4 days to activate a SIM is ridiculous...
