My New TYTN is great except.....

...I have no EDGE icon and the standard way of activating is not there. But read below first...

...My speed test resulted in 75.7 kilobits per second which means I'm not getting EDGE at all. When my Smartphone does. I know I dont have High Speed in my area yet...but I thought I'd at least get EDGE with this phone!!!!

...Anyone having trouble with SPB Weather??? I cant get it to download any data.

...I app unlocked the phone but I cant move/delete previously locked item in the start menu via ActiveSync. I need to do it on the phone itself.

Anyone have any ideas...especially on the data speeds.

I can only give some suggestions for the last two;

What versionf of SPB Weather are you using? The one from MoDaCo Plus? IIRC, there were some issues with that version and the HTC Wizard...

As for the icons, I can't do it either... Do you know if you actually can normally?

Paul's Tweak of changing DNS to 4.2.2.1 and 4.2.2.2 fixed my slow connection issues. Now getting 337.6 kilobits per second. Which is EDGE Speeds.

SPB Weather still doesnt work. I also have PocketWeather which I'll load til that is resolved. (BTW, I was running a previously owned copy, then downloaded a fresh copy from the developers site).

As far as the ActiveSync....I could do it on every phone before. (I had this issue resolved before...forget how).
