Well I am with Orange, and was very happy with them.

Recently though it seems hit and miss if I actually get through to anyone in CS. I used to wait a couple mins and was connected, of late its been 5 mins+ and I just hang up. Soo frustrating. Maybe I should ditch my 4 year long contract with Orange?

I have had the SPV, E200, C500, M5000, C600 and now the M3100

What are your thoughts on your network?

Been with Orange for a very, very long time. Really felt ripped off after a while, especially given that the deal I was on (despite trying to negotiate) was really poor, and I would have had a MUCH better deal on Pay-as-you-go. Which, to me really takes the mickey.

Then when T-Mobile brought out the W'n'W, I thought about moving, but decided not to. I have had a SmartPhone since they first came out. But then, the MDA Vario 2 was on the horizon. So, I made sure that I was one of the first to get one (and really not disappointed at all!), and have moved on over to T-Mobile. Happy so far!

Have been with O with about 12 years (god, has it really been that long).

In the past I have run six business phones with them but currently just run two.

Have had one or two problems with them, but generally have been happy with their handsets, network and customer services. Have received a few ex-gratia credits when they have mucked up.

I think most of the problems that I have with O, I would have with the other networks anyway.

Wasn't happy last night when their system crashed, I lost signal, callers to me heard a number unobtainable tone and calls to 150 were answered "Sorry, this service is not available".

The absolute only reason I went with T-Mobile was Web 'n Walk. When I found out that such a thing existed, about 3 months ago, I decided that my next phone *had* to have unlimited data. It's such a waste to buy these insanely capable PDA phones and then limit then by never using their online functionality (the alternative being paying a fortune for data, which I can't afford/justify).

If Orange had an unlimited data package sorted out that was like T-Mobile's (in so far as, you can call up, order the cheapest voice tariff you like, and get unlimited data added to it no questions asked) then I'd have probably gone with Orange, for no other reason than the better network coverage in my area. However, Orange still don't seem to have sorted themselves out, offering an unlimited data package that nobody in the call centre knows about, and that is difficult to get added to anything other than a mega-expensive voice tariff.

Having said that, my experience with T-Mobile has been great - ordered the phone late afternoon one day, it turned up the next day. They answer the phone quickly, they're polite, friendly, and seem to know what they're doing. All mobile networks have shocking customer service, but at least T-Mobile seem to be trying...

i just got my vario ii on t-mobile after about 2 years on vodafone and the previous 6 or so years on o2/cellnet. as others the only reason i switched to t-mobile was the data. i've never had any real issues with any of the other networks, but in the world of mobiles you get nothing for loyalty so i see no reason not to change. in 18 months time when my t-mobile contract expires i'm quite sure the other networks will all be offering good data packages, so once again the tender will be out :D

On Orange for 8 years now, and HTC phones since they appeared. Will never leave as long as I have everday50, but will never tell retentions that each time my contract is up... :D

Am a bit fed up with the fact that they seem to leave you waiting 30mins+ to get through to CS these days though :D

Mmm, seems Orange need to look into a W&W type package as they are loosing out big time. I am certainly considering a move now.

I was on Orange since 1996, but changed last Friday to T-mobile. They gave me a good deal with no fuss that Orange could not match.

Orange is turd.

Yep, moved to T-Mobile last week. Better deal than Orange. I especially didn't like Orange CS who were extremely inconsistent.

On Orange with a C600, only 2 months in to a 12 month contract. Phones great as it was free, CS is terrible to get through to. Im on one of their stupid arse animal plans for 25 quid a month. Got to upgrade to 30 quid as the minutes that are free arent enough , no free texts and I have to pay an extra 4 quid to get a poxy 4mb data package. If I decide to stay in the country I'll be off like a shot......

Basically, T-mobile is the only network to have decend Data plans/costs together with HSDPA working (65% coverage). HSDPA or 3.5G is a software upgrade to 3G and therefore has the same coverage when enabled.

Check out http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/High-Speed_Do...k_Packet_Access for more info.

Note 'Current Deployment' sayes T-Mobile to be running @ 20Mbps by 2011

:D Cool! :D

Also switched from Orange to T-mobile for WnW last Friday. Had no particular problem with Orange apart from inconsitent CS, but equally have not had issue with T so far. CS are good and helpful. Simple economics of tariffs - Flext35+WnW equals pretty much a known fixed monthly cost with no suprises.
