Guest Metal_Mickey Posted August 27, 2006 Report Share Posted August 27, 2006 Hi All, Picked up a T-Mobile Vario 2 yesterday and had a go at setting it up so that it could retrieve e-mail from my standard e-mail account. Unfortunately as my service provider is not one of the known standard ones, WM5 named the new messaging account after the server that it retrieves the mail from. This is an eyesore and I would like to give the account a more friendly name such as "My E-mail". Had a search and found this article on how to rename the account in WM 2003, but this doesn't seem to work in WM5 as my new custom e-mail account isn't listed under the key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Inbox\Svc\ Anyone have any other ideas on how I can change this accounts name ?
