Silencing incoming calls

On my old Nokia I could silence the ringer if someone was ringing that I didn't want to answer. It would not hang up and send them straight to voicemail like pressing ignore does on my vario.

Anyone know of a way to do this with the hermes, it seems rude to hang people to voicemail they know I'm ignoring them not just away from my phone etc.

Maybe it's possible to program the soft key for ignore somehow?

As is common with all WM devices, when it rings, just flick the volume down once (ie on the Hermes - scroll the wheel down). This silences the ringer for that call, and the person at the other end hears a normal ring tone till it does divert to ansaphone (according to your normal "divert on no answer" settings).

Top banana cheers :D Easy when you know how! Tis my first WM phone so I'm sure there'll be lots of obvious things to find out about!
