Just off the phone with Vodafone. They still have no news regarding the new price plans which are introduced tomorrow morning. She was really honest with me but she said, nothing has leaked as yet.

I will bring my packaging with me tomorrow morning, when they don't have better price plans with MB allowance, I shoot over to Tmob to get the Vario and W&W.

I just hope i can take my number with me. Not sure if Vodafone will issue me a PAC.

really? I've been looking all over the place today to see of they had a WnW equivilent yet. I want to turn the push email on on my Wizard but at the prices they currently charge it will cost a fortune!

If you only use it when away from pc, and peak only (ie manual after 7pm) set a limite to email size donwloaded, set it to no attachments, and have spam filters etc, then you should only see a data usage of a few (say 3-5 meg) per month. Probably worth it to give yourself time to wait and see if their new tariffs are any good.

I heard that voda allow you to swap texts and data (something like 10 texts = 1 mb)

yes, on the old plans, you can swap txts for MB, eg 500 txt gives you 24.5 MB but i can tell you, those Mbs are eating up quite quickly when using weather forecasts, push email and occacionally web surfing. of course, you also want to txt a little as well..

also not to forget, 080x number and 0845 are NOT coming out of your inclusive minutes. really bad...

their new price plans do not offer even the passport options to be added. :D really really bad. went to t-mobile this morning instead. V1605 ( even though it is unlocked ) goes back to vodafone.
