Guest gurujockstrap Posted September 1, 2006 Report Posted September 1, 2006 Just wondering if any of you guys have come accross any limitations with the Microsoft Mobile OS in terms of telephone use? When I recieve a normal text message, theres no option for me to reply via a picture message. I have to go to the MMS inbox and create a new message to that person. That means going into the contacts and finding their number. A "Reply via MMS" option would be nice. Strangely, if I recieve a MMS I have the option to reply via SMS. But there is one really annoying problem. On my previous Symbian OS phone (6630) if I wanted to send the same text message to 30 out of 50 people in my contacts, I simply scroll through the contacts list, put a check mark beside those I want to send the SMS to, hit ok, write the message and send. With my Vario II, I have "Add Recipient..", select person from contacts, "Add Recipient..", select person from contacts, "Add Recipient..", select person from contacts, etc. Anyone else experience this or is it just me?
Guest Loconinja Posted September 1, 2006 Report Posted September 1, 2006 On a different function... Is there any way to easily save a received number to an existing contact? There is a "Save to contacts" option on the context menu, but that creates a new contact called "Unknown Caller".
