i try approximativly 4 or 5 different rom, during the patching is ok , after reboot , same thing :D

when i try to use spv service ( supercid mode ) i have a rapi.dll error ( its normal )

ok.. so then, try applying an original rom for C600, then app-unlock it, and spv-service will work.

finaly apply your custom rom.

have a look at this topic :D

the mentionned patched rom is in this topic : http://www.modaco.com/index.php?showtopic=244608

i use TyphoonNbfTool for delete operator information and when a "save as", TyphoonNbfTool make me a 512kb nbf file :D

And sure when a try to maj, doesnt work!

I can use original orange rom and TyphoonNbfTool.exe , the patch is applying but like always , after reboot , im blocked in canary mode.

i cant use spv-service to get a superCID

im little bit desapointed :D

wrong way :D don't try to change the nbf file...

use TyphoonNbfTool 0.41 (unofficial..) open the orange NK.nbf file, then at bottom you can see a list with SPL / IPL / GSM etc... right click on SPL and choose "emergency flash" when finished, try to boot the C600 :D

Hello Pi0u,

I read your post about your C600 stuck on the bootloader screen. I have the same problem now and I want to know how imei-check solved the problem so I can buy it from them as well.

Thanks in advance,

I tried the imei-check unlock and... IT WORKED!!! :P :) :D :D

Had to pay £20 but that's better than having a pretty paperweight instead of a Smartphone!!!

Thanks to all who helped out (the Doctor especially and Pi0u for posting the imei-check thing)

Really sorry i couldn't fix it for you in time aicon ;) But glad you got it fixed :)

TBH i really need to be 'hands on' with the device infront of me when trouble shooting phones like this, its easier to find where its going wrong then and then correct it :D

Still glad you got it fixed :P

As for how IMEI-Check works: IMEI-Check rewrites the security sector of your phones ROM, giving you a 'sticky' CID unlock, meaning it wont change after reflashing so you can install ANY ROM you like. It also does the necessary wizardry on the GSM radio section of your ROM required to unlock it

Thanks again, Phil. Even though you didn't get to fix it for me I really appreciate all the effort. And since this is the season: it the thought that counts! (hope all the people I have to give presents keep that thought in the front of their minds this year :D

Have a very merry Christmas!

Cheers,
