using vario 2 as a GPRS/3G modem

I tried to set up my phone as a modem lastnight, so i can finally have internet at home but i couldnt get it to connect.

I finally figured out that the "phone Number" is *99# but i get an error saying its been disconnected for some reason. think its a username password problem. can anyone help.

PS im on wnw pro.

Generally no username and password is rquired...

Just try -

Username: user

Password: pass

How are you connecting? BT? USB?

Make sure that the Modem is installed on a Com Port in Phone and Modem Options, and if necessary add the AT string (within the modem properties, under the advanced tab)

at+cgdcont=1,"IP","general.t-mobile.uk"

see what happens then!
