Guest waroffice Posted September 19, 2006 Report Share Posted September 19, 2006 I tried to set up my phone as a modem lastnight, so i can finally have internet at home but i couldnt get it to connect. I finally figured out that the "phone Number" is *99# but i get an error saying its been disconnected for some reason. think its a username password problem. can anyone help. PS im on wnw pro. Guest yrreP Posted September 19, 2006 Report Share Posted September 19, 2006 Generally no username and password is rquired... Just try - Username: user Password: pass How are you connecting? BT? USB? Make sure that the Modem is installed on a Com Port in Phone and Modem Options, and if necessary add the AT string (within the modem properties, under the advanced tab) at+cgdcont=1,"IP","general.t-mobile.uk" see what happens then!
