Guest bingobob Posted February 27, 2007 Report Posted February 27, 2007 are you sure the connector under the rubber bung is for a car aerial i heard it was for improving WIFI reception, with the appropriate adapter and SMA (i think) port on the end of the adapter, could be wrong though? Maybe it does both, just improves all aerial reception?
Guest argh Posted March 1, 2007 Report Posted March 1, 2007 Of course the other annoying thing is that it now doesn;'t sit still when typing on a flat surface. So no hope anyone? I can see it being alright if I stuck it in a case, but I'm not sure whether the Proporta/ADVERTISING SPAM one is that great. I was going to suggest sellotape over the hole. After reading this, I now suggest double sided sticky tape. ;) As an aside, if you ever have to return a device and are getting a refurbished one in its place, remember to take out the rubber bung first. I've never had a refurbished device arrive with one in place (although maybe I've been unlucky). Perhaps everyone else already does what I now do.
Guest The Doctor Posted March 20, 2007 Report Posted March 20, 2007 Any news on those Hermes cases Richard? I'm thinking of replacing the grey front on my hermes with the black one from a M3100 ;) Keeping the custom T-Mobile button layout tho... Oh and I've lost my bung as well :D Phil

Guest DorianGray Posted March 30, 2007 Report Posted March 30, 2007 Lost mine too. T-Mobile suggested a repair shop (much help). I snaffled one out of my old SPV 550. Fits fine.
