Guest themitch Posted September 19, 2006 Report Posted September 19, 2006 Is it just me or when you turn sound off on the M3100 there's still a slight tapping sound emmitted from the device when you click things? Anyone know how to turn it off?

Anyone know how to turn it off? Nothing from the screen on my Vario II - just the manual click on the keyboard(that's after de-ticking the Events, scren taps, hardware buttons boxes on sounds & notifications, under settings). Guest randomelements Posted September 20, 2006 Report Posted September 20, 2006 I can occasionally hear a tiny click but it's hardly noticeable. I only ever hear it at night when it's quiet and I'm REALLY listening for it. But, yes, it's there.
Guest jimbouk Posted September 20, 2006 Report Posted September 20, 2006 If you have certain sounds and notifications on (such as screen taps) and then turn the device to silent, there is a very quiet click whenever the sound should play. Noticed this on mine when I first got it, but as I have pretty much all sounds turned off anyway, it doesnt bother me.

On second thoughts I think my wife is beginning to wonder about the amount of time I spend fiddling with the device already. Richard
