Guest Paul (MVP) Posted September 21, 2006 Report Share Posted September 21, 2006 UTStarcom, serial US based repackager of HTC Handsets, has announced at CTIA that it is to release the 'UTStarcom 6800'. As you can see from the picture below, courtesy of Engadget, the 6800 is clearly a HTC Hermes variant, with yet another keypad layout, and the rather slick addition of LEDs for caps / FN lock status! There's no information on pricing or availability, but it's interesting to see HTC working with UTStarcom when they are busy dropping i-mate, another device repackager, like a hot potato :rolleyes: P [Disclaimer: Paul's news catch-up...] Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
