What's the zigzag bar on mobo for?

I've disassembled a 8125 to fix a broken digitizer. During the process, something struck my curiosity. There's a thick metal zigzag bar atop of the mainboard. What could it be for? It's not an antennae but it's on the underside opposite the miniSD slot. Any takers?

Nothing mentioned there, notice it was written in 2001. I didn't know this pda was available then. Another note on the disassembly of the 2125 is that it comes apart way differently than the MDA. The screen housing is the same as MDA, but the phone housing must be pried off around the keyboard. Looks like a disassembly guide in the making. :rolleyes:
