Guest Celtic Blood Posted October 22, 2006 Report Posted October 22, 2006 I've had one for just over a week now and the text and photo side of the internet on it is fine etc, but the fact that you can't listen to or view embedded music or video on V Bulletin forums' threads is a big let down, plus it appears the Java is non existent on it too so no Yahoo Pool either. Also, I downloaded the only available macromedia 7 flash player for it.. and it doesn't even let you watch You Tube vids. Can anyone on here give me any advice or download links to rectify my problem.. thanks. Can't believe there's no Java for it, a link to the best Java programme for Windows mobile 5.0 would be appreciated as well. Thanks if anyone can help.
Guest Celtic Blood Posted October 22, 2006 Report Posted October 22, 2006 On reflection.. I was also disappointed with my spelling of that word there. :(

As for the flash player this is still in it's early beta so it sites like youtube will not be watchable for sometime.

Guest awarner (MVP) Posted October 23, 2006 Report Posted October 23, 2006 Java is slow and memory hungry
Guest jcostantino Posted October 28, 2006 Report Posted October 28, 2006 Also, as far as I am aware there is NO phone or handheld with Flash 8 or 9. Maybe now that Adobe has bought Macromedia, THEY will develop an updated Flash plugin for PPC. Really, with all of those flash video sites, 2.5/3G data plans, and phones with 200/400/500 mhz CPUs it doesn't make sense to avoid the mobile player market.
