Guest merwin Posted October 25, 2006 Report Posted October 25, 2006 (edited) The normal tools to SIM/CID unlock smartphones don't work on the HTC Excalibur / T-Mobile Dash. I get the following error in SPV Services client: --------------------------- RAPI error --------------------------- Invalid Storage Manager handle (SAFE) --------------------------- OK --------------------------- Yes, the phone is properly app unlocked  Edited October 25, 2006 by merwin

Guest merwin Posted October 27, 2006 Report Posted October 27, 2006 Bah..... HTC and Microsoft spoiling our fun again  phil I've taken a look and it has to do with the fact that they are using a different flash layout. In WM5torage, it shows: DSK1: OneNAND Drive OS DSK2: OneNAND FAT DSK3: SD Memory Card This is really different from the existing phones, with the extra FAT partition in there... when I mount it, I get all of the files that are not in the flash rom. Interesting... In any case, WM5torage doesn't really work properly with it... transfers go insanely slow, and some operations don't work on certain files/folders. Probably not a very difficult fix.
