The normal tools to SIM/CID unlock smartphones don't work on the HTC Excalibur / T-Mobile Dash. I get the following error in SPV Services client:

---------------------------

RAPI error

---------------------------

Invalid Storage Manager handle (SAFE)

---------------------------

OK

---------------------------

Yes, the phone is properly app unlocked

I've taken a look and it has to do with the fact that they are using a different flash layout. In WM5torage, it shows:

DSK1: OneNAND Drive OS

DSK2: OneNAND FAT

DSK3: SD Memory Card

This is really different from the existing phones, with the extra FAT partition in there... when I mount it, I get all of the files that are not in the flash rom. Interesting... In any case, WM5torage doesn't really work properly with it... transfers go insanely slow, and some operations don't work on certain files/folders. Probably not a very difficult fix.
