Guest masterall Posted June 4, 2007 Report Posted June 4, 2007 (edited) I have fixed the problem for Puzzle Bobble 2, World Heroes 2, Super Sidekicks, Joy Joy Kid and Puzzzle Bobble, World Heroes 2 Jet is not tested yet. And CAVE is added, I tested Air Gallet worked well with sound on a 400MHz device. However, the CAVE games using a YM2203 is not supported. NeoGeo games 1945p is added too, but not tested yet. You must mean in the version that you haven't released yet? Right? Because 0.009 (on this thread) doesn't have those features yet. When are you going to release the new version with CAVE?
Guest masterall Posted June 4, 2007 Report Posted June 4, 2007 Yes, in the 0.010 wip version. Maybe this weekend, I will test all CAVE games before release.

Guest jens.l Posted June 4, 2007 Report Posted June 4, 2007 Masterall, do you think it is possible to integrate also the Taito drivers into your 68k and z80 core ? Nearly all CPS1 and CPS2 games are working. Also the Neogeo Games with less than 25 Megabytes are working well. But some Games are resets itself after 10 seconds on version 0.009 only with cache created games. On version 0.007 was the game ok. Maybe it is solved with version 0.010. Do you plan a bluetooth option in the the far far future, so that we can play together ? Are you planning to use open GL ES standards for future projects to accelerate the graphics ? If i have created the caches, will there be an option to delete the zipped rom files ? So that the emu uses only the cached files. Or must we have both files for a working Game. Thanks for all Jens.l I can't wait to try the new Finalburn 0.010 on my Gizmondo. For all who don't know what a Gizmondo is.: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gizmondo Gizmondo Hardware Specification Platform - Samsung ARM9 400Mhz processor - GoForce 3D 4500 NVIDIA graphics accelerator - Removable battery Display - 2.8-inch TFT colour screen, 320 x 240 pixels, 16-bit, 65,000 colors - Digital camera, 640 x 480 (VGA) Connectivity - Bluetooth class 2, for multi-player gaming - GSM tri-band, GPRS network link, for wide-area network gaming - SMS texting, MMS Multimedia messaging (pictures) - E-mail - GPS chip, for location based services - USB 1.1 - SD / MMC flash card reader

Guest kevinsephiroth Posted June 7, 2007 Report Posted June 7, 2007 If i have created the caches, will there be an option to delete the zipped rom files ? I can't wait to try the new Finalburn 0.010 on my Gizmondo. Yo. If it's like with my PSP, maybe you can. Look at the cache.zip files. if you see for exemple some mvc.12 mvc.13 ... (marvel vs capcom) in it, i think you can try deleting those same files in the original mvc.zip ... Dunno though the PSP is alot more powerfull than the smartphones (take into exemple the GBA and PS1 emus that work at full speed... well the PSX emu is sony's but even though...) As for gismondo i don't understand the point? Did masterall say he was going to port finalburn to it? or is the gismondo running Windows mobile 6.0?
Guest repuken2 Posted June 7, 2007 Report Posted June 7, 2007 I tried deleting the sound roms (v1,v2,v3,v4) in the bigger neogeo roms (ie. mslug3) but it will say some roms are missing so no luck on that one. The caches FBurn creates are a single binary '.bin' file for what i can see, not many files inside a zip file so it's not likely you could erase anything. I have a PSP too, it's the greatest portable gaming device ever created. The main difference aside power processing is the control, you just can't play that well on a pocket pc (i have a Dell Axim X5 Adv 400Mhz /WM2K3) or maybe a little better on a HandHeld Pc (i have a Jornada 720/221 Mhz Arm/WinCE3.0, just like a mini laptop) cause of it's keyboard but still doesn't taste the same at all. cheerz

Guest dario69 Posted June 7, 2007 Report Posted June 7, 2007 too bad the psp is the size of a house and has no good games  As far as portable emulation is concerned the PSP cannot be beat. Not a single PDA can touch it. Maybe, just maybe the old Casio EM500 and E1xx series comes in a distant 2nd because there were no button issues to contend with. But speed wise it suffered. No, PSP is the king of portable emulation. Finalburn is good but NJ's version is even better on the PSP. And you don't have save game issues with Metal Slug.
Guest dijital Posted June 7, 2007 Report Posted June 7, 2007 (edited) As far as portable emulation is concerned the PSP cannot be beat. psp? portable?.. lol! ok, ourun2006, is the one good game it has. I would get seriously pissed off having to carry that elephant of a console around all day Mame,Snes,Genesis,Nes,GameBoy,GBA,Atari2600,AtariSt,NeoGeo,CPS1,CP S2,Coleco,Commodore64, Lynx,DosBox,NeoGeoPoket,WonderSwan,Quake,Doom,ROTT,Quake2,Hexen,Hexen2,Master System,GameGear.... we have those. and we dont have to hack our system to use them. while you have ps1, n64 will run at full speed the same day satan ice scates to work. My phone is 12mm thick and does all of the above, and heres its party peices :- Phone calls Sms Internet anywhere (no wifi to worry about) A qwerty keyboard (not that horrendous keypad thing on the psp) Camera Video recorder Not just quake 1 or quake 2, QUAKE 3. A decent memory format Tomtom navigator and other gps application available all over the world Divx, xvid, wmv, wma, mp3, ogg as well as other formats Cave emaulation soon Hundreds of office and business applicaions I can atually fit it in y pocket. My phone, sim free cost the same as a psp. Go PPC/Smartphone! Edited June 7, 2007 by dijital
Guest nothin Posted June 7, 2007 Report Posted June 7, 2007 DO NOT go smartphone lol  :P go ppc...
Guest dijital Posted June 7, 2007 Report Posted June 7, 2007 DO NOT go smartphone lol  :P go ppc... i prefer smartphone, i find the phone interface on ppc phone edition to be infuriating.

Not to mention Lucasart games (I wouldn't try Monkey Island 3 on a psp, it needs a stylus) and a few good native games when companies use the hardware potential of those machines (bejeweled 2, flux challenge, syberia 2, skyforce reloaded, warfare incorporated...) Not enough native good games though, so big big thangs to you people who work on emulators ; ) FinalBurn is superb and full speed !!! Big big big thanks to masterall !!!
Guest kevinsephiroth Posted June 8, 2007 Report Posted June 8, 2007 I would get seriously pissed off having to carry that elephant of a console around all day That's true unfortunately, it's really heavy, even at bed to support it on hands ... Not just quake 1 or quake 2, QUAKE 3. Where did you see Quake 3 on Smartphones? Did you smoke? The day when Quake 3 will be on smartphones PC will have 8 cores at 4.9GhZ and windows mobile 8.0 will be available then... A decent memory format +1 and cheaper Well PSP has: PsOne full speed compatibility. GBA full speed compatibility. PSP duh And now N64 (only for few games: Mario Kart 64 and Super Mario 64 ) It hasn't: Amiga full speed duh and never A lot of good games , but some though. isn't really portable lol... We can debate alot on this but... This wasn't the topic . If you wanna continue, pleas make a new topic  I say that but that's me who launched the debate by mentionning PSP lol :P

Guest repuken2 Posted June 8, 2007 Report Posted June 8, 2007 Shite! i started psp-ppc-sp wars!! LOL, well i prefer to have them all, i have a nintendo DS, a psp with 14 gb in memsticks and 5 pocket pc's LOL i believe psp is better for action games or fighting games wich require more than 1 button pressed at a time (KOF anyone?). I love pocket pc's because of them having a real OS (even linux!!!) and it's aplications (word, excell, programming stuff). I believe each apparatus has it's own weakness and strenghtness, i love my HP Jornada 720, it's like a mini notebook instant-on, no booting required, it has PocketGCC so i can do C/C++ on the go, i can use internet explorer to view offline pages with serves me a lot for University and i have Final Burn Ladnscape in all it's full screen glory!! take it easy boys, all this things are wonders each on it's own. cheerz
