Guest ashram Posted January 22, 2008 Report Posted January 22, 2008 just ran it on my old blackjack (running da_g's wm6 rom) and sf3 runs at the same framerate as the tilt... granted, my bj is overclocked to 264Mhz and the tilt has crap for video drivers right now. it's just sweet seeing sf3 running on a cell, visually arcade perfect.

Guest 1000101 Posted January 23, 2008 Report Posted January 23, 2008 (edited) Dear Mr. Masterall, I am sorry for bringing up a topic that does not pertain to this one, but I was wondering how the hell do you get your GBACE emulator to work on a non-touch SP5 smartphone. It is listed as non landscape compatible. I know you are a busy man but I just wanted to know if it is easy to do it myself. If you can give an update on the other forum pertaining to GBACE that would be much appreciated too. Thanks for being the man in PPC emulation. I have been waiting for a GBA emulator that is landscape for a long time my friend. I just can't wait for your landscape version to surface. Thanks! Edited January 23, 2008 by 1000101
Guest colin d Posted January 23, 2008 Report Posted January 23, 2008 Cool, Thanks Masterall. That really worked well! :) -Colin.
Guest ashram Posted January 26, 2008 Report Posted January 26, 2008 (edited) just for a laugh... i attempted to run sf3 on an old ipaq 5550 with windows mobile 2003... HOLY CRAP!!!!! not only was the sound barely understandable (you know it was sf3 music, heavily distorted) but it ran ALOT faster than on my blackjack or tilt. this ipaq (and it's twin) have been sitting on my desk for 4-6 months untouched (work bought them, but never used them) so now guess what i'm playing in my off time?? Similiar to the finalburn for Win32, put your rom in the roms directory, then load it in the emulator. 0.003 support cache, so it will create cache when you first load a cps2 game, it may take several minutes. It will take much less time when load the game again. Make sure the neogeo bios has been put into the roms directory before rescan for neogeo games. To use combo, put macros.dat to cfg directory. You can find macros.dat in finalburn alpha plus for pc. Cache maker is easy to use, it will create the cache when you finish loading a rom. The correct bios zip package contains vs-bios.rom 0x020000 0xF0E8F27D usa_2slt.bin 0x020000 0xE72943DE asia-s3.rom 0x020000 0x91B64BE3 neo-po.bin 0x020000 0x16D0C132 neo-epo.bin 0x020000 0xD27A71F1 neodebug.bin 0x020000 0x698EBB7D uni-bios.22 0x020000 0x2d50996a sm1.sm1 0x020000 0x97Cf998B sfix.sfx 0x020000 0x354029FC 000-lo.lo 0x010000 0xE09E253C

Guest jens.l Posted January 30, 2008 Report Posted January 30, 2008 Hi, I have a Gizmondo, It is based on a Windows CE 4.2 has an arm 400Mhz with 64 MB Ram. My problem is that caches with more than 26MB are not working. Does somebody has an Idea or the same problems ? I thought with the cashes it is possible to run games that are bigger than the work ram? I have allready created caches with the PC version but they are not working <_< How much free mem must I have ? Hope somebody can help Jens
Guest twolf Posted January 31, 2008 Report Posted January 31, 2008 I have a qtek s110 with 95mb of free ram, he has 128mb of ram in total (wm2003 can manage ram very well) but with my previous Qtek S100 (that only had 64mb of ram) I had 40mb of free ram and played exactly the same roms... so 40mb of ram should be enough for all...
Guest rojblake9 Posted February 2, 2008 Report Posted February 2, 2008 ih finalburn is the best emulator ever the cashe idea is great and it gets better evry thime but it will be absolutely amazing and totally cool if you add the old arcade games emulation or atleast system 16 so we can play alteredbeast or golden axe or alienstorm. the pocketcultmame emulator SSSSSUUUUUUCCCKKKKKSSS big thime it is unplayeble with sound even at 668 mhz. i had treo 650 with 312 mhz processor and the mame emulator for palm (palmmame) was 1000000 thimes bether then pocketcultmame with sound at 420 mhz.... why i have no idea. anyway keep up the good work :) :D :D :D :D :D
Guest Pasukun Posted February 4, 2008 Report Posted February 4, 2008 I have a PPC 6800(mogul) device and I have downloaded all 5 RAR files from the OP. Now that I have unzipped all of them.. which executable do I use with my Mogul? I see "burner.exe", "finalburn.exe" and "fbaud.exe" files. I have tried "burner.exe" and "finalburn.exe" and they seem to open just fine.. But when I try to load a ROM.. it finds none no matter how many times I rescan.. I was trying to make the NEOGEO version of "Puzzle Bubble 2" Rom to work. The game is in the "Roms" folder. Thank you in advance for your help. :)

Guest Pasukun Posted February 5, 2008 Report Posted February 5, 2008 do you also have the neo-geo bios files in there?? Thanks for the reply. I did download a NeoGeo Bio files from the RomNation, but still no go.. I must have downloaded the wrong version perhaps.. If it is not a too much of trouble.. would you please direct me to the correct place to download it? Thank you.
Guest gijoe77 Posted February 6, 2008 Report Posted February 6, 2008 Thanks for the reply. I did download a NeoGeo Bio files from the RomNation, but still no go.. I must have downloaded the wrong version perhaps.. If it is not a too much of trouble.. would you please direct me to the correct place to download it? Thank you. Yes, the biggest issue is that most of the neogeo bios files floating around are for MAME, which is not the complete package that finalburn is looking for. What I ended up doing was downlading every single neogeo.zip I could find, doing a stare-and-compare with the following list: The correct bios zip package contains vs-bios.rom 0x020000 0xF0E8F27D usa_2slt.bin 0x020000 0xE72943DE asia-s3.rom 0x020000 0x91B64BE3 neo-po.bin 0x020000 0x16D0C132 neo-epo.bin 0x020000 0xD27A71F1 neodebug.bin 0x020000 0x698EBB7D uni-bios.22 0x020000 0x2d50996a sm1.sm1 0x020000 0x97Cf998B sfix.sfx 0x020000 0x354029FC 000-lo.lo 0x010000 0xE09E253C then doing a search for any remaning individual bios roms I was missing. I also used winrar to see the CRC of each ROM, some just needed to be renamed.
