Guest Steadyeddie Posted October 31, 2006 Report Share Posted October 31, 2006 Evening all. I'm a first time PPC user and am having trouble installing downloaded programs. For instance I tried to download the Jumpyball game from Pocketnew, it downloads ok but when I click on 'yes' to install I get an error saying 'not a valid pocket pc application'. This is the same error I get when trying to download and install most things. I know it's probably something simple, but I'm a simple person and need simple instructions!!!!! Help!!! P Hi Paul I'ts http://www.pocketnew.info/index.php?act=jumpyball I click on the 'free download' under pocketpc, click on 'yes' in the pop up box to download (the 'open file after download' box is ticked). Guest awarner (MVP) Posted October 31, 2006 Report Share Posted October 31, 2006 If you are not at the PC you have to make sure the application can be installed directly on the device.
