I've never used a Loox so how different are they to a standard PocketPC

Does this have MSN messenger? Does it have an option for WPA-PSK connection for wlan?

I can confirm the usual 'Pocket MSN' is included, so yes it has Messenger. You can also specifiy WPA-PSK connections for wireless lan.

I think it's quite smart in an industrial/functional way.

If it wasn't for the square screen I'd be quite tempted.

Paul, did this review ever get posted or written? If not, any chance of your conclusions on the device after using it for a while (assuming it's now gone back?)

Not yet... I still have it, but i've not used it enough to do a full on review yet (it's still planned tho).

My main beef with it is that is' just so damned huge... and you still only get a 320x320 screen. Don't like the keyboard much either...
