broken screen:(

i had my qtek2020i in my backpack and the screen got broken :)

i am in the uk atm, and i bought the phone over at greece (i live there, i study here) so the service center there is not an option.

where can i find a screen for it? is it easy to replace it on my own or it requires soldering or anything like that?

replacing the screen (i would've thought) would be quite easy, but requires a LOT of patience and calm-ness!

of course, if i was you id much rather go with the first one (the one from the seller based in the UK)

it would just be a matter of getting the phone open, removing the ribbon of the old screen, remove screen, insert new screen, plug it in, make sure its seated properly and away you go!

it would be best to get the advice of a few other people around here who know their way around the insides of an XDA, your best bet would be to go over to xda-developers.com they ought to be able to help you out.

and i really wouldnt go with sending it back to the repair centre unless you really dont want to do it yourself. (with my experience) they take forever and rob you blind too. oh, and they also break the warranty seals for you and dont replace them!

the first ebay link doesnt show the qtek2020i , is the screen the same with the 2020?

the second link has 2 screens, but i dont know which model i have :/
