Guest sporkguy
Hi guys, When I took delivery of my D600 I found that the side bar was incredibly annoying, expecially as you have to scroll down to the message option to simply read a received text. So I took the plunge, got a service cable off eBay (around ?10) and got a nice software CD with instructions in it. The whole process takes around 2-3 hours using the USB method, and while those few hours are nervous ones, there really isnt much to worry about as I messed up my first one (PC crashed luck would have it) and simply re-loaded the bootloader. Does anyone else have any experiences with flashing firmware to Samsungs, if so what are your tips to people who are considering it? Personally, I'd say go for it if you can't stand Network branding. Also - If Paul allows it, I have the latest D600E firmware available to post here. AFAIK It's not illegal to post firmware as many service centres carry it and flash it for you under warranty.
