any help please? Vario charge issues!

Hi

I'm really having some BIG trouble with my vario!

it seems it doesn't wanna charge right. If I hook up my charger it turns on the orange light but after a while it starts to blink and doesn't charge any further. and sometimes when that happens and I take out the charger it makes the sound it does when the battery is empty and is about to turn off.... and then it turns off! :)

Not really enjoying the Vario at the moment

Does this ring any bells??? some advice please.

funnily enough Ive started having charging issues with my vario?

Cept I have a USB cradle but its always powered if leave it plugged into the built in usb 1.1 port in my computer so it will charge while the pc is off.

But the problem I had was that Id turn it off and leave it charging where it would be orange for a few minutes then it would flash red and then not do anything! So in the morning when I woke up to turn my vario on it wouldnt? It would be on 0% even if it had been on 50% that night ?

Anyway I think ive just fixed the problem as I was using OMAP Clock and it was set to "Set to 260 on start up" which Ive now deactavated and its charging happily :)

So are you using omap clock?

Try charging through the PC instead of the mains charger to see if there is a difference otherwise try a new battery.

silly me... forgot to add more info.

same problems with USB charging, car charging & home charging.

updated ROM with Molski AKU 2.3 ROM

Still my troubles remain.

any tips are welcome!

ok.... it's fixed....

I sent it in for repairs and it came back (two freakin days later :) )

they performed a boarsd swap! and it was waranty :D

so now I've got myself a MDA Vario and a HTC P4350.... I'm lovin it.
