Guest Paul (MVP) Posted March 8, 2007 Report Posted March 8, 2007 I'm just trying to track it down ;) Watch this space! P
Guest Justin Daniels Posted March 9, 2007 Report Posted March 9, 2007 Look forward to getting my hands on it, thanks Paul!
Guest Justin Daniels Posted March 13, 2007 Report Posted March 13, 2007 Any more updates on this? I played around with the source, but am hitting a couple roadblocks.
Guest Paul (MVP) Posted March 26, 2007 Report Posted March 26, 2007 Lost my changes, but have redug out the source to update it again ;) P
Guest nickcornaglia Posted March 26, 2007 Report Posted March 26, 2007 Didnt know you lost the source. Was wondering why you didnt answer ANY of my bombardment of requests for the updated code.
Guest Paul (MVP) Posted March 26, 2007 Report Posted March 26, 2007 lol! Is it me or is Twitter pretty ill of late too? P
Guest nickcornaglia Posted March 26, 2007 Report Posted March 26, 2007 They have been having growth problems and have been updating their servers alot.
Guest sp4rky Posted March 27, 2007 Report Posted March 27, 2007 What is the status on Twit! being fixed. Right now this is the only application to update twitter status on WM5, so I am painfully waiting for the fix. SMS cost each time sucks, hehe.
Guest nickcornaglia Posted March 27, 2007 Report Posted March 27, 2007 When Paul posts the corrected code....I'll continue with the rest of the things I planned to do....see above.
Guest sp4rky Posted April 11, 2007 Report Posted April 11, 2007 When Paul posts the corrected code....I'll continue with the rest of the things I planned to do....see above. Paul!!!!!! I love the ap, SMS is going to kill me. Whats the status.
Guest nickcornaglia Posted April 21, 2007 Report Posted April 21, 2007 I fixed Twit! I'll post the program and code in a bit.
Guest nickcornaglia Posted April 21, 2007 Report Posted April 21, 2007 Here is the latest build (1.070421) of the code and executable...still for Landscape Smartphones Only. For some reason I couldnt post it into the first post. When I get the timeline done...I'll post the code again. When I get the timeline done...I'll create a portrait version.Twit__Code.zipTwit__Program.zip
Guest sp4rky Posted April 22, 2007 Report Posted April 22, 2007 Here is the latest build (1.070420) of the executable...still for Landscape Smartphones Only. For some reason I couldnt post it into the first post. When I get the timeline done...I'll post the code again. When I get the timeline done...I'll create a portrait version. Thank You!
Guest Paul (MVP) Posted April 22, 2007 Report Posted April 22, 2007 Good work Nick, the fix you used didn't work for me when I tried! Typical! Downloading to put on my S710 ;) P
Guest nickcornaglia Posted April 22, 2007 Report Posted April 22, 2007 oooo....the S710, eh! ;) Because I dont know how to make the app work automatically for portrait and landscape....my personal plan was to make two seperate versions...one landscape, then one portrait. The S710 throws a wrench in the whole plan, doesnt it. Definitely going to need help moving forward too. The fix I found was a line of code in VisualTwitter (see the Twitter Wiki). But I have a VERY minor understanding of VB. I can make forms and menus. I can look at someone elses code and kindof understand it....but I can't yet write it. Please, someone, help finish this up. Thereare twitter apps out for Palm, and nokias....but none for Windows Smartphone/PPC. We cant have that! I even think at least one of them was ripped off from Twit! There are two major things left to do: 1) TIMELINES: If someone could create a code that pulls public timelines in...I'll take that and make it work for personal, friends, etc. 2) PORTRAIT/LANDSCAPE LAYOUTS: I have no idea how to go about this as mentioned above. Two versions wont work, as mentioned above. Any ideas? Nick
Guest nickcornaglia Posted April 22, 2007 Report Posted April 22, 2007 I added the code to Post #37 and a slightly updated Program EXE as well. (only addition was new forms for the timelines).
Guest Paul (MVP) Posted April 22, 2007 Report Posted April 22, 2007 Let's work on this this week Nick! With regards to the layouts, you can use the resize event on the form to trigger actions to change the layout, pretty straightforward. I'll grab you on MSN and we'll get cracking ;) P
Guest nickcornaglia Posted April 23, 2007 Report Posted April 23, 2007 Ummm...you're aware of my expertese in VB aren't you? Or lack there of? Though, I'm trying to squeeze in some learning when I can and like to learn from others. I'll help in any way I possibly can.
Guest nickcornaglia Posted April 24, 2007 Report Posted April 24, 2007 Twit! Back in the Twitter Wiki Page. http://twitter.pbwiki.com
Guest Dadditude Posted September 14, 2007 Report Posted September 14, 2007 What is the status of Twit!? Is it still being developed? No updates in nearly 5 months... Is there something else like this out there that I haven't heard of?
Guest nickcornaglia Posted September 15, 2007 Report Posted September 15, 2007 Paul has been busy and not been able to get back on it...or just lost interest entirely. I don't believe he even uses Twitter that much anymore. I have since switched to a PPC and have been converting the app for that platform. I am also a noob in developement so I dont move fast and it takes me time to learn and understand what I'm doing. Unfortunately, no on else has volunteered to pick up on this app...being open source and all. in the meantime check out http://m.twitter.com
