Guest salemoh
I flashed my T-Mobile SDA with the SP5m ROM from club imate. Now when I install an application for SP5m I get the error message "Application can not run on this device", my phone seems not to be considered a full imate SP5m yet. I read in another posting the reason is I had to change CID to superCID=11111111. Do u know how I can change it to Sp5m i-mate CID=CLD_60,1 I changed my CID to superCID to flash the imate SP5m rom, is the assumption above correct? do I need to change my CID to CLD_60,1 to get the imate sp5m applications to work? how do I do that? Much appreciate the help.
Guest mini_man
In my experience with rom flashing. It should just work if you unlock the CID just too straight ones like listed above. What program are you using? Although I never flashed an SP5m rom I flashed an sp5 rom onto my C600 but there all the same any just with different buttons and no wifi etc. Sam
Guest salemoh
The application I'm using is SP5m_Arabic_Setup_V6.331.1.0.exe, this is downloaded from the club imate website and they provide arabic support for sp5m. It seems I-Mate wants to restrict this application to only it's handsets. Here is a direct link to the application http://www.clubimate.com/support/SP5m/ROM/..._V6.331.1.0.exe
Guest mini_man
I actually ment to CID unlock. But all handsets are locked via CID and this stops you puttin 3rd party or roms that arent approved by your network or phone manufacturer on there. Here is the CID utility. http://www.spv-developers.com/content/SPV-Services.zip Sam
