Hi,

I managed to crack the top (when viewed in portrait) of the LCD causing the crystals to leak out and rendering 20% of the display unreadable. My own stupid fault so I'm gonna have to cough up for repairs. I was wondering if anyone has experience of T-Mobile's repairs service or if you could recommend another company that can fix HTC Universal (MDA Pro) screens for a decent price?

Thanks for your help in advance!

Stewart

You could buy one on ebay and swap it yourself.

Not very difficult, remove 4 screws in the base of the screen, unclip housing, unplug 3 cables inside, remove screen, replace new screen and as they say reassembly is the reverse of removal. Screen/digitiser units go for about £90 on ebay.
