Can we change the applications in the 3x3 grid ?

There is a button with the circle on it. It calls up the 3x3 grid with 9 applications. Is it possible to reassign those 9 applications instead of using the default ones ? Thanks very much.

AbstractStart is a start menu replacement, it works by reordering the start menu, putting the most used things at the top.

Thanks for the replies. However, I'm not looking at changing the Start Menu. I want to change the 3x3 grid that is brought up by the left most button wiht a circle on it. Any idea ? Thanks again !

Ah, i think that buttons function is set in hardware. I seem to remember that there was no way to change it the SPV C550 (the Orange flavour of that device) either.

Yes you can change the four buttons.

I have the Qtek8300 (the same machine) and have changed the buttons which control WinMedia player to pint to my Agenda and Messages. It's easy. Just go to the \windows folder, open the file Short_AP1.lnk (whicj is the leftmost button, the Internet Explorer button) with wordpad and edit the destination.

Yep, no problem. It survives softresets, but of course no hard resets.

Let me know if it works on the C550, it might be slightly different from my Qtek 8300. My Qtek has the four buttons laid out as:

1: Int Explorer

2: WMP: Rewind

3: WMP: Pauze/Play

4: WMP: FF
