Guest capt_janeway Posted June 3, 2007 Report Posted June 3, 2007 Bought the Proporta Vox case - and I have to say I'm disappointed  For nearly £30 I did expect the case to be user friendly......you cannot open the sliding keyboard whilst phone is in the case - looks nice but expected more.
Guest peekie Posted June 3, 2007 Report Posted June 3, 2007 i need one badly as i have my first scratch on the left hand side on the silver strip  the sp5 case is too big sadly
Guest S710demon Posted June 7, 2007 Report Posted June 7, 2007 Hi guys, just got a S710 myself and in my manual there is nothing stated about a pouch... Will try to get one though.

I havnt received mine yet and i'm in the UK.. so your not alone. My dad got a case included with his cheap £20 Nokia1600.. to my surprise.. it fits my S710 very nicely  Edited June 9, 2007 by KillBait!
Guest th1rt3en Posted June 9, 2007 Report Posted June 9, 2007 ive got a case for the old audiovox 5600, fits nicely.
Guest KillBait! Posted June 14, 2007 Report Posted June 14, 2007 My missing Vox case arrived in the post this morning from HTC.. The address was wrong and i'm suprised it found it's way to me.. somebody at royal mail must be pretty good to spot their mistake and get it to me.
Guest capt_janeway Posted June 14, 2007 Report Posted June 14, 2007 from the pictures i have seen you can open the slide out keybaord whilst still in the case. untitled.bmp Nope you can't - honestly it's a poor case. Mine has broken already. went for a ADVERTISING SPAM one from eBay at £14.50 and it is BRILLIANT!
Guest conan_troutman Posted June 14, 2007 Report Posted June 14, 2007 Sorry I wasn't disputing that you couldn't I meant more that from the pictures it looks like you clearly can ...well if the picture depicts that you can when you can not you have a clear case of not fit for purpose so are entitled to a refund. I do believe the KRussel Vertical cases have one that fit try these http://www.krusell.se/searchResult.php?bra...mp;x=18&y=4 I use this one for my Qtek 8310 but I have been told the VOX fits in too http://www.krusell.se/productUni.php?produ...amp;category=53
Guest Odie Posted June 15, 2007 Report Posted June 15, 2007 I still haven't received my S710 case from HTC, even though I requested it well over a month ago. They have also not replied to either of my two queries about the status of the case over the last 2 weeks.
Guest KillBait! Posted June 16, 2007 Report Posted June 16, 2007 it was exactly 2 weeks between sending the email to HTC and my case arriving.. had they put the correct address on it (or the postcode) i would have got it quicker. Im in the UK and the return address was aswell. It's not a bad case, it leather or some sort of fake looking leather, has a belt clip but you cant open up the keyboard while it's in it  If i can get some decent pictures of it i'll post them.
Guest Pensive Posted June 20, 2007 Report Posted June 20, 2007 well I have the proporta case, and trust me you dont want one that lets you use the keyboard, not on ly does it catch when you slide the mechanism but it holds function key down to you can only ever type numbers!!!
Guest rperalta Posted June 20, 2007 Report Posted June 20, 2007 I received my HTC case 2 days ago. It's very nice case, however, it took them a long time, almost 2 months.
Guest -Darko- Posted June 20, 2007 Report Posted June 20, 2007 I have a E650. Just after I bought it in April, I complained to Orange FR about the missing pouch, meanwhile I also complained to HTC Europe ( worth trying), they asked me my IMEI and my adress. I received the pouch from HTC yesterday. Despite several calls to Orange customer service, 2 months later I'm still waiting for Orange to give me an answer about the complain I filed in April So if you own an E650, it still worth trying to get a pouch from HTC  .
Guest roody Posted June 20, 2007 Report Posted June 20, 2007 Love the phone, but worried I'll scratch the screen within a couple of days. I've had a google for a case, but the only ones that turn up are "universal" types from Mobilefun. Anyone had any better luck? I got mine from a ebay seller in Hong Kong, only took 5 days to arrive and it is a quality case, good leather and it allows the keyboard to slide out! Its not cheap at £14.50 including shipping, but its quality, check it out. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Leather-Case-for-Dop...6QQcmdZViewItem

( I keep the press stud closed just to keep the stupid sliding keyboard shut ) Great case for £15.50 delivered. Also includes a belt clip and swivell mount to fit all the other Krusell accessories. No I dont work for mobilefun :) Le.
Guest PaulF Posted September 17, 2007 Report Posted September 17, 2007 Hi I've used Krussel cases for my last few phones and been pleased with them - just waiting for the Krussel case for my E650 to arrive any day now..... But, occasionally the Krussell cases are too big - those nights out when you don't want a phone hanging off your belt, and the Krussell cases add a lot of thickness to the phone. I don't like to put phones in my pocket without any protection (as they tend to scratch easily).... Has anyone seen a silicone case that would protect the E650? - I know you wouldn't be able to use the keyboard, but it would be useful for protecting the phone in my pocket etc... Alternatively, what's the slimest case / cover you've found for one?? Thanks
