Guest Paul (MVP) Posted April 26, 2007 Report Share Posted April 26, 2007 Remember the whole 'the HTC Cavalier is dead' thing (The Cavalier is the follow up to the popular 'Excalibur' device btw, also known as T-Mobile Dash, MDA Mail, SPV E600 etc)? Well, forget about it, because the HTC Cavalier is coming to Dopod, and our sources tell us that other HTC box-shifters are set to follow! According to PhoneDaily, the Cavalier will ship as the 'Dopod C730', in a completely black case as shown below. The Cavalier runs Windows Mobile 6 Standard Edition and packs a 400MHz processor, 64MB RAM, 128MB ROM, GPRS / 3G / HSDPA radio, a 2 MegaPixel camera and microSD expansion. The only thing it does lack for me is GPS ;) The C730 isn't the only device launching shortly from Dopod, the same article shows the Dopod C500 (aka HTC Vox), Dopod E616 (low budget HTC Panda) and the Dopod D802, which looks like a HTC Love variant.
