C600 Vodafone MMS - Help

I have a Orange SPV C600, unlocked with a Vodafone Sim.

I have Internet access all working fine but can not get MMS to work

I have entered all the setttings as per numerous posts on modaco, confirmed settings with vodafone, confirmed that MMS is enabled with vodafone.

The 'G' gprs signal (on the signal indicator) flashes repeatedly then eventually gives up and gives an unable to send error message.

I have read just about every related post on modaco to no avail, Anyone had this problem got any more hints or tips ??
