I'm having a little problem. When I go to my contacts and try to send a contact as a vCard. This action opens up Google Maps to the address of that contact...anyone know what is going on here?

Just tried this on my SGH-I600 and it opens a new MMS with the vCard attached (as it should)

Thats even more interesting considering I'm using a SGH-i607. I wonder what is going on here.

You could check the registry setting for .VCF files, see what it points to.

Look in:

HKCR \ vcffile \ shell \ open \ command

The string on mine is

poutlook.exe -f %1

That's what mine is also. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling google maps a few times with no success... any other ideas?

Er, No!

Does it do it for all contacts, or just one/few?

Do you have anything else installed which interacts with Contacts?

Does it work normally when you remove GMM?

Yes it appears that this is only the problem when Google Maps is installed. When I remove the program 'send as vCard' works perfectly. And yes it does it for all contacts unfortunately.

I have the BJ2 also with Google Maps installed. When I got to CONTACTS, like you are saying, I don't have the 'Send as vCard' choice in the menu popup. But, if I select EDIT from the menu, then from within the edit mode, my menu popup contains the Sens as vCard choice. Check and see if that works the same on yours also.
