Hi, I have a BlackJack phone. I would like to make it look pretty. :rolleyes:

I want to isntall this homescreen on it: http://www.modaco.com/Smart-Girl-QVGA-t251828.html

I don't understandw here to install the facade and the other plugins to make this work. I know how to use ActiveSync a little bit, but other than that I am lost. Please move my post if I posted in the incorrect forum. Thanks! :P

Hey, basically, here are the requirements (copied from the link):

Requirements:

* Windows Mobile 5 QVGA Device (Tested on QTEK 8500 Only)

* SBSH Facade Plug-in (http://www.sbsh.net/products/facade/)

* Smart Monitor Plug-in (http://www.ferrandez.plus.com/SmartMonitor/)

Download and install those plugins, to do that just follow the link and download - make sure your phone is connected via ActiveSync before running the setup file.

If it's a .CAB file (it should state somewhere or your file will be filename.cab anyway) then copy this to your phone via ActiveSync using the file explorer, and run it from your device.

After you've installed the programs, "simply copy the extracted contents (ensuring to retain the file structure) to your \Storage\Application Data\Home\ folder. Ensure your background is set to default and select Smart Girl QVGA." Basically, you need to navigate to that folder using file explorer from your desktop PC, and copy those files that you initially downloaded i.e. the Smart Girl QVGA stuff into that folder. Then, go to Start, Settings, Personal, Today, select Smart Girl QVGA.

Hope that helps!

Thanks! Yes that did help. I don't have a card for the phone, so I just put it under the home folder in the main directory. Should I get a card for it? Does it run better if I put things on there?

I installed the Smart Girl thingy,but I now realize it doesnt really fit my screen. I have to scroll down to use it. I think I am going to try to get someone to make me one that fits my phone. It seems there aren't very many Landscape Pink Themes. :-o

Hey, a storage card is useful for basically storing files on! Music, videos, pictures, programs etc. you've got more space to keep stuff on, it's useful if not a necessity!

In terms of the theme, you have a blackjack phone with a different screen size...you'll have to find something that matches that size. I'm not sure where you'd find them to be honest, worth a google though.
