Paint it Black

Hello everyone,

Im new here! Right down to the brass tax... I have a Motorola Q (black). I would like to change the top bar and the bottom bar to black. All through out the damn phone they are grey. Is there any way to always have them black even without loading a color scheme or theme?

I downloaded BlackBarsScheme.cab and it looked good until two things happened... it changed my themes text color to white ( i had black) and it changed the highlight bar to grey (i had that black as well).

With that cab file loaded when the phone would lock it would go back to grey, even when the batterey would say complete charge then the top and bottom bars were back to grey. I need something that will stay black all through the phone.... can anyone please help!!!!!!
