right, ive gone through and checked everything so far... ive downloaded and installed Action Register, when running it i put in my phone number as +44 7789blahblah and without the space.

the screens then shows

Carrier: Vodafone

IMEI: blahblahblahblah

Phone: +44 7789blahblah

Status: Action Lock is running

phone is registered

i end the grps call it is trying to make, and then create a new gprs call (tried using both PIE and MSN).

thats all that happens, i dont get any message to say unlocked or anything... have i missed something

After having 2 days of complete mucking about trying to install stuff on the phone, download to the PC, no messages or anything....

I went on today and tried again.

Put in phone number with no spaces +4479xxxxxxxx

and clicked on OK and guess what I got the message

your phone will be unlocked in 5 minutes

next thing I know the phone has that message on it and is now working fully again. :)

Ive managed to get mine done now!! i emailed Orange and they were very helpfull, contents of the email below: (if i aren't allowed to post some of thie for any reason, then i am sorry and ill remove it.)

[edit] basically worth noting is the updated application and the fact that you can try entering your mobile number without the + on the developers site[/edit]

Hello Daniel Cooper,

We have found a bug recently introduced into the unlocking process.

When you go to the data entry page on the web - the page that asks you

to enter

in your name, e-mail address, mobile number, and IMEI number - please enter

your mobile number in this form:  "447789797756".

That should allow your IMEI and Mobile numbers to br found, and queue an

unlocking message for your SPV.

Then you can proceed to step (20), and proactively retrieve your waiting

unlocking commands.

Sincerely,

John Wolfe

Hi,

I was really pleased I spotted this one day while browsing the site on my spv. I'd never had any luck in getting mine to unlock. The luck came when my phone accidently slid off my sofa one night, landing straight into my glass of J.D (it's ok tho, this didn't ruin the taste!) Anyhow the next day true to their word I had a new spv delivered. This unlocked straight away & continued to work like a dream.

I had another unfortunate accident the other day & my LCD smashed, no worries as orange once again delivered me a new one within 24hrs.

But I can't get this one to register so that I can unlock it?? Any clues.....Anyone??! & If I call Orange with the query will it matter that I'm not acually a developer but jus 'lil ol' me who wants lots of cool stuff on my phone?! I've needed to go through the unlock 'thing' because the IMEI number changes with each new phone.

The only thing I wasn't happy about was all my contacts were on my phone & not the Sim, lost all of them! & the day I tried to run the backup program when I got the 2nd phone, for some reason it wouldn't work and I never did get round to trying it again!! Lost EVERYTHING!! I think there's a couple of lessons to be learnt there!

Read the first post on the first page on this topic for all the info you need.

another option as you are on Orange is to make sure you have the handsets registered with them.

I've unlocked all my phones without much problem (sometimes there has been a delay)

Guest The PocketTV Team

Could someone try to install PocketTV Classic 0.10.14 on an unlocked Mio 8380 ?

We believe that we have worked around the problem that was preventing PocketTV from installing on the Mio.

Could you try and tell us if it works for you ?

PocketTV Classic 0.10.14 is free and can be downloaded from:

http://www.smartphone.net/software_detail....teid=279&id=113

Please post feedback on this forum.

Thanks!

As I do not have an E200 I can only say what other members have found,

and that is it should be possible. As for the IMEI number, apart from trying it again I would think there could be a chance that their system may not be updated with all the new E200 numbers?

And that is only a guess at the moment

Hello,

I followed your procedure, but once I run Action Register, I get to the screen with my IMEI and Phone #... All is OK

but then I get :

Status : Action Lock is not running

            phone is registered

When I click on menu>Run Action Lock

It tells me nothing...

And when I click on Register, it tells me Action lock must be running...

Can someone help ?

#12.

Hi, i've basically got the exact same problem as above, i'm on T-mobile UK network, can anyone help in resolving this and getting my spv e100 software unlocked, pls !!

Thanks.

You need to use the Passthrough option as instructed in the first post.

Or have you done that?

Yes i've the above too and still the same problem. Anyhting else i can possible do?

What if i temporarily use an orange sim to unlock, will the work?

thanks.

If the phone is registered then you do not need Action Register to run.

There does now appear to be a common problem with new E200 and the

decert process not recognising the IMEI number.

One guess at the moment is that it could be down to the fact that O have not

fully updated their system with all the new phones IMEI numbers yet.

You wont belive this!

I tried unlocking with an orange sim, and that still didnt work!

Do i have to do any kind of a master reset.

Also i network unlocked my phone phone quite easily, so why should software unlcok be such an issue. Is there no way of manually configuring the registry?

I think the main problem is that Action Lock is not running, which the what it says when i run the app. Because i can connect to the internet fine, my phone number in Action Lock shows as '07xxxx' and i have changed this to '+447xxx' and also '+44 7xxx'. Basically when i select the option to Run Action Lock i get no response?

Hello guys I cannot de-cert my spv!I've a spv and an E100 but after the upgrade 1.6 my spv(s) are now application locked.I've tried with Ota but...nothing!I live in Italy and I put in :+39(Italy)347.....without space!I've tried also with SPVdecerter programs(version 1and v2): the programs are not able to copy the modified mxip_oem_10.provxml file in the phone before it's booted(I did the hard reset) but only when activesync starts and ACTsync stars only when the "smartphone2002 screen disappear".I have Windows ME.Please can any1 help me?i don't know why orange OTA doesn't work(probably the problem is the phone number???)and SPVdecerter(v1 &v2)too .thanks for your patience.GAGAIA
