HI,

I am looking for an external antenna to plug into the back of my c600 when i am in my office. Reception outside the building is ok, but the its an old building with thick walls and i cant get a stable signal inside.

Does anyone know where to source a reasonably priced external ariel (preferably window mountable) that would be compatible with this handset?

Thanks in advance! :)

I have this one: http://www.cellphoneshop.net/exanwimastfo24.html and it works quite well.

Thanks, but i forgot to specify that i am in the UK! i'm looking at this one http://www.expansys.com/p.aspx?partner=modaco&i=136355 which should be compatible with my phone.

did you have to do anything to the settings of the phone to make the external ariel work, or just plug it in?

Nope, just plug it in. It looks like the one you're looking at and the one I posted have the same plug, I would think they do regardless of country. The nice thing (I think) about the one I have is that it has a magnetic base so I use it when I'm travelling cross-country in my car for the weak signal spots.
