On the week view you can click and drag hour slots (or half hour if you enable that option), but when you're in the 'New' dialogue you can obviously set whatever time you want.

Despite items being in the 'Red Category' in Outlook 2007, they don't appear red on the device (synced via Exchange 2007). I don't know if 3rd party software will enable this.

P

I mean two things, actually: Can you decide and pinpoint a start and stop time for the day on the week planning calendar? And: Can you decide and pinpoint how many hours (e.g. 1 or 2) there shall be for each time slot during the day? And when these entries are shown, can the view show different colors, that is, you have chosen different colors for different kinds of tasks or appointments (entries). This is very practical, especially for planning purposes. If this is not a built-in possibility, do you know of some 3rd party Calendar app that offers this possibility?

Does anybody want me to create any videos of the P4550 in action? Either screen grabs or actual videos?

Yes!!! Please both! So much info and especially impressions are given by videos!

Thank you for your fast answer.

Some more questions: I am not sure if these are already handled in the 36 pages before (sorry if so):

- is the weight 160 g or 190 g with regular battery ? (this differs from site to site)

- is the memory present enough for the jobs it can do ? can you several things at the same time ?

- is there any comparison of the Kaiser with the Sony Ericsson P1i ? becuase I am gone choose between these two to be my next smartphone

Thank you.

- 190g (I already posted that answer :))

- Oh yes... please read at least the first post, and you'll have the answer to that :P

- No, I don't have one of those ;)

So, Paul, could you create a sticky thread (even if there's no content) to which we can subscribe to be notified as/when your Modaco pre-order/deal 'goes live'? I'm finding it hard to keep up with this thread (particularly if it's going to become muddied with questions about whether 65k colours is 'enough' to view a web page :P :)) but I'd like to get the details on your offer asap (particularly as my SO told me this weekend to just get on and order it ;)).

Hi Paul,

Just wondering if the new software ROM has been released yet?? If not, can we at least get a new software feature list.

Thanks

No, there has been a slight delay in the next ROM build.

Unknown at this stage.

Can you say how long it will take till the deal with expansys is ready for release?

It's hard to wait for such a good hardware :)

Hi Paul,

You had said end of week update even without new Rom, so I was just wondering if we could get some more juicy info.

No, there has been a slight delay in the next ROM build.

Hi there,

Paul, I'm sure this hasn't been answered fully or accurately as yet (pre-production and all that), but how long does the battery last from full charge for average use (phone calls, web browsing etc). Have you done any tests? I would be annoyed if I had to charge the thing up every night. My S710 is getting around 4 days with casual use (phone/sms and a bit of web).

Great review BTW.

Important question :) do the LED’s still flash the status? i.e. flashing green for normal use, flashing blue when Bluetooth is on? It’s one feature that annoys me on my current phone (SP3i) and hoping they might move away from it … (much prefer if they flash to tell me something is new/wrong…)

(Could not see any posts about this, sorry if there is a posting about it).

Just ordered a Sandisk 4GB SDHC microSD, £33.61 all in!

So those SDHC doubters will soon have their answer... :)

Yes they do, and I can't see it changing any time soon!

No, not necessarily! I'm not 100% sure, but bearing in mind the QuickGPS app also see on the Artemis (SiRF), it's perfectly feasible.
