Guest favian
Seriously, the best emulator for windows/linux/dos has always been zsnes. lightning fast speeds, even back when snes9x was still scrambling to achieve playable speeds on windows. it is an efficient and fast open source emulator, it can be ported, i don't see any real problem. IF ANYONE porting an snes emualtor is reading this, please consider it. http://www.zsnes.com/index.php?page=files If there is any LEGITIMATE reason (i.e. not laziness) why this hasn't already been done, please enlighten me. If I remember right zsnes is harder to port versus snes9x. This topic has been covered in other forums for years - ever since PocketSNES first came out. I just remember developers and programmers giving their reasons and the difficulty of porting this for the ARM processor was their main reason. I think this best explains it. It even gives a reason why a PPC port was never made. http://macemu.com/wiki/index.php/ZSNES
