Menu's from START button not accessable

Hi,

Not able to access MENU's from START button, when LH Soft key, the START options flashes, but MENU doenst pop's up and also when trying to press any key on the keypad i don't reflect on the screen. I can access CONTACTS from the RH Softkey.

Am trying for HARD RESET by powering off and holding down both the SOFTKEYS and powering it on. But it boots normally and doesnt ask's for RESET. Is there any way to MAP the LH SOFT key or any software for hardreset or reload the OS.
