Guest J273 Posted September 9, 2007 Report Posted September 9, 2007 Is there another link for the 'NODATA' app? the above link seems dead for me. Thanks
Guest Magxs Posted September 9, 2007 Report Posted September 9, 2007 Just tried it. Works for me. Alternatively, you can just go to the Skype website and download the app for Hermes. Look for the Dopod 838 Pro/CHT 9000. What do you mean by NODATA app?
Guest J273 Posted September 9, 2007 Report Posted September 9, 2007 Paul's Nodata app ; -- you can disable GPRS connections .etc
Guest J273 Posted September 9, 2007 Report Posted September 9, 2007 hmmm i got it to work now copy and pasting the link....wouldnt work direct with firefox for me though. All sorted now though.
Guest kathryncheng Posted September 9, 2007 Report Posted September 9, 2007 hello everyone and to the hex and rom editing people... Is there a way to add a cab file that will activate the gps to tag the location of the photo being taken by the camera of TYTN II? Paul had mentioned before that its just a quick job.... Guest Paul (MVP) Posted September 10, 2007 Report Posted September 10, 2007 Either a custom app will need to be written, or someone will need to try the camera app from another device (does the Athena have it?) P

Guest FlangeArtist Posted September 11, 2007 Report Posted September 11, 2007 (edited) How about Adobe Flash? ;) http://download.macromedia.com/pub/flash/d.../fp7_ppc_en.cab Does it really work? Yep... Try www.flashearth.com for a good example of Flash in PIE. Edited September 11, 2007 by FlangeArtist
Guest FlangeArtist Posted September 11, 2007 Report Posted September 11, 2007 Either a custom app will need to be written, or someone will need to try the camera app from another device (does the Athena have it?) P I'd buy that for a dollar!
Guest Shivadxb Posted September 12, 2007 Report Posted September 12, 2007 Good wifi radar and easy set up tool if your lazy. It will automaticaly scan an area and then connect you where ever it can http://www.makayama.com/pocketwifiradar.html ok so you gotta pay but it works great
Guest Paul (MVP) Posted September 12, 2007 Report Posted September 12, 2007 Doesn't count in the FREE apps thread then I'd say ;) P
Guest Paul (MVP) Posted September 12, 2007 Report Posted September 12, 2007 Added Yahoo! Go, mapping works great with the Kaiser GPS, and an all round nifty app. You can subscribe to the MoDaCo news RSS in it too  CAB download from http://www.modaco.com/downloads-file2396.html, or point your device at http://GO.MoDaCo.com ;) P
Guest kapot Posted September 12, 2007 Report Posted September 12, 2007 Paul, how about an application to do some clean up? For example: - Cleaning up registry - Cleaning up bad shortcut - Cleaning up bad installation - etc. Is there any freeware for this? I know there are several commercial applications for this. Which one is the best for Kaiser (WinMo 6 Pro) ???

Guest Paul (MVP) Posted September 13, 2007 Report Posted September 13, 2007 I use SKTools, IMHO the best out there. Not free tho! P
Guest kapot Posted September 15, 2007 Report Posted September 15, 2007 Paul, How about a really small tiny utility to "cleanup connection". Basically it will do this : With ONE SINGLE tab : - Stop all programs except - Stop all data connection <3G/HSDPS/Wi-Fi/etc.> Currently, we have to "close all" and then "disconnect", a lot of tabbing ;)
Guest Le Chiffres Posted September 15, 2007 Report Posted September 15, 2007 (edited) Hi All, Does anybody know where i can get a cab or exe file for voupbuster, i will really love to use voipbuster on my Kaiser. Cheers J.P Edited October 1, 2007 by Le Chiffres

Guest Shivadxb Posted September 18, 2007 Report Posted September 18, 2007 Logmein.com fantastic and free remore desktop application. It works brilliantly over wifi and I have been using it for a few days now with great success. Highly recommend it.

Guest Paul Miller Posted September 24, 2007 Report Posted September 24, 2007 I use SKTools, IMHO the best out there. Not free tho! P For totally retentive device cleanup, use BOTH MemMaid and SKTools. Each will find some things that the other has missed. ;)
Guest Paul (MVP) Posted September 26, 2007 Report Posted September 26, 2007 Ooh, logmein Mac support, didn't realise it was free too ;) P

Dennis, It's been there all the time - although hidden.... Courtesy of travegliaesogno over at xda-devs. it goes like this: Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\HTC\Camera\P9 and change the value "enabled" from 0 to 1 You will then have a new photo mode in the camera called GPS Photo. Cheers, Søren
Guest amo Posted September 28, 2007 Report Posted September 28, 2007 (edited) The remote desktop app that was uploaded works great! Only thing is, is there a way of getting it to fit the remote desktop to the phone screen rather than keeping it at a higher resolution and having to scroll around...? [edit]Read the options in the menu and figured it out...ignore me...[/edit] Edited September 28, 2007 by amo
