Guest Phil_UK Posted September 9, 2007 Report Posted September 9, 2007 (edited) Hi On the Tytn 2 I want to be able to sync email over Wi-Fi rather than the more expensive option for me of using 3G/GPRS data connections. To avoid using a mobile data connection I downloaded the "NoData" application which works great and stops the device from trying to dial out for a data connection any time it fancies, which puts me in control, no problems there. Wi-Fi is set up and working, again no issues there and I can sync email manually just fine. The problems arise when I set a schedule so it checks email every so many minutes. The email is never synchronised successfully as the Tytn 2 goes to sleep, but when woken, must time out before the Wireless has had time to connect, perhaps the Wireless part isn't even being turned on when it temporarily comes out of standby to do the sync. Any ideas on this? Is there a way to extend the synchronise time out period? Regards Phil Edited September 9, 2007 by Phil_UK
