Guest WoD
The Windows Mobile 6 Palm Treo 500v has been confirmed, is being displayed on the Palm European site in all its glory and comes in tasteful Apple-esque black and white options. The 500v Windows Mobile 6 Standard, a 320x240 pixel transflective screen, GSM/GPRS/UMTS, Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR, a 2.0 megapixel camera and 256MB memory with 150MB available to the user plus the always-available keypad we've come to expect from Treos. All this functionality comes at only 16.5mm x 61.5mm x 110mm and weighs in at 120 grams. The photos on the Palm website show a tweaked Windows Mobile 6 reminiscent of early Palm OS devices and there's a hint of the Yahoo! Go carousel UI in there too. Also, from what I've read, they are going to be no more expensive than the originals, and a few sources say they may be less. So here's to hoping for all you palm mobile fans out there. Guest sxywill2005
I am disappointed by the lack of WI-FI on this handset and no juicy data plan from Vodafone... yet.
