Guest cpghunt Posted September 18, 2007 Report Share Posted September 18, 2007 Hello, I have just purchased an unlocked SGH-i600 and so far like it a lot. I live in Canada and have it on the Rogers network. I have no problems sending SMS messages or making calls. I haven't tried MMS yet. I also don't have a data plan with Rogers, but would just like to use the internet by connecting to available wifi networks. I beilieve that I've managed to connect it to my home wifi network as I have the little entena indicating that. However, when ever I try to connect to the internet using explorer it errors out on me. I think that the problem might be that I have no proxy information in the phone what so ever. Is it possible to have it automatically detect the proxy? Could that be the problem?
