Guest Shivadxb Posted September 23, 2007 Report Posted September 23, 2007 Does anyone know if its possible to hook up a wifi dongle somehow. I prefer to use wifi whenever possible to save on data costs so is here any way in which I can extend the wifi range with say a wifi usb dongle? I think it ould have to be battery powered rather than off the usb, which is fine but i'd rather not buy one until i have a good idea as to whether it might work first.
Guest Neil5459 Posted September 23, 2007 Report Posted September 23, 2007 You can't use USB input devices as there's no Host USB facility. Even if there were, it's unlikely that any PPC device drivers would be available. What's wrong with the inbuilt WiFi?

Its coming up to the cooler months here and i plan to spend a good deal of time outside, but i've noticed that the wifi range isnt great. could a host and drivers be written or is it an impossibility?
