Haven't got my hands on one of the Oct catalogues, would somebody with a cataogue be able to check if it says how much the Vario III is on Flext + Wnw plus 18mth?

If it's a lot less than £130 for the phone think i'll be contacting t-mobile myself.

Cheers,

Mike

It doesn't give that information in the mag. ALL it says is that it is free on flext30 + webnwalk

Thanks guys.

Oops, I should have said 1GB a MONTH. Web 'n' Walk Plus has 3GB and WnW Max 5GB fair usage a month.

Well it's finally arrived and to say I am pleased is an understatement. Little to no branding unlocked and the front finish is the same as the old imate jam so with the help of a sugar cube no more voda logo.

The only thing I would like to know is the quickest and simplest way to tranfer all email, mms and web settings accross

MDA Vario III here keeping my existing flext35 & WnW Bundle (not package) and 25% discount got the upgrade for £80 + £5 delivery. Am really pleased with it and the speed over the mda vario is good tomtom working with internal gps is a godsend no more having the btgps and all the cables and cradles ;). Just ordered me HK car holder for the VIII as the one i had for my Vario was top notch (gpsforless seller on ebay for £18 all in).

Just noticed all Vario models except original Vario + CoPilot have disappeared from T-Mobile website. They must be preparing to put the Vario 3 online. I wonder if the price will change each time you refresh the page? ;)

May you all welcome the newest member of the kaiser club.

Got mine free on flext 35 + W&W!

For anybody thinking of upgrading, taking out a contract etc the price will be free as the price i was given was matched on the website. which is presumably why the vario2 has been removed and will be updated with the vario 3.

I think there must be a note on my account that says "don't drop below an offer of £100". I asked if there was an offer on the website that he could match and he said "no". I've now phoned 7 times. Maybe I'm destined never to own a Vario III...

i phoned many times and when she said "free" i was surprised to say the least. previously my lowest offer was £80 if i lost my discount. Just keep phoning

However i did complain a few days ago how they were not honouring the deal in the mag and how it is false advertising etc. not sure if that had something to do with it

It's Here:

http://www.t-mobile.co.uk/shop/mobile-phon...o-iii/overview/

18 Month WnW:

20 170

25 150

30 110

35 70

All Others FREE

Bit dissappointed at the moment with their WnW PLUS Handset prices:

WnW PLUS:

(18)25+ 140

(12)35+ 150

(18)35+ 60

Thought the 12 Month £47.50 package would be much cheaper than £150 considering the monthly outlay.

Also they want £50 for WnW MAX !!!!! Hey! £57.50 a month over 18 months and they want £50!

That does not match the page 19 of the October brochure (unless I am reading it wrong).

I have just called TMobile back since ordering the phone today and they say no way to get it free, can you please provide more info on how this is possible. I am going to be on Flext 35 + W&W Plus.

Also seems they hadnt put me on the Plus package and even though they told me I would get it Sat, its not coming till Monday, and I am away.

Great start to joining TMobile, hope its better than this. Will be calling customer services after dinner.

what info did they need to refund the price, as the guy I spoke to said the price was not negotiatable.

Thanks

Walk into the t mobile shop and they will give it to you free on flext 35 + web and walk for £37.50. Also offered to throw in a memory card.

I didn't go for it, but I'm starting to regret it now...

They didn't ask for any info although the guy i spoke to had to clear it with his line manager before he could carry out the refund.

When i spoke to him i said that i was in the T-mob store (leicester) y'day with a friend who wanted to buy a Vario III and while i was waiting for him to finish speaking to the sales clerk i was flicking through the october issue of the in store magazine and that's where i saw the offer. I asked him why i wasn't informed of this offer when i took my contract out on the 1st of Oct.

He said he'll speak to his line manager so he put me on hold for a few mins and said his manager was busy in a meeting and he promised he would call me back as soon as he is out of his meeting. An hour later i got a call and he said his manager told him to go ahead and credit my account with £70.

If anyone gives you jip about it just ask to speak to their line manager because they are the ones who give the final yes or no, not the people on the phones.

Right 20 mins on the phone to customer service, and go the line manager on the phone.

No go on refund for phone, they dont match store deals. So I am going to go to the T-Mobile store near me and see what they have and then hopefully cancel this contract.

Before you go to the store, try ringing again in the morning, you might get a more sympathetic line manager.

Say you spoke to someone y'day and you were expecting a call back but you never got one.

Do you think this deal is not available in store then?

When I spoke to the line manager, he said it says on the system you already asked about the handest price, so I dont think they are having it online, just hope the shop can offer a better deal, the other guy said they had a free card offer to. Fingers crossed.

Hi guys, don't mind me, I'm new!

Just wanted to say a big thank you and tell you my story. ;)

I called T-Mobile earlier today regarding the Vario III, after I read on here about there being something in the T-Mobile, in store magazine, saying it would be free on Flext 30.

I told the guy I'd seen this myself and he told me he was allowed/had to honour it! They've apparently been clawing back these magazines since Tuesday!

Hope this helps :D

I'll be sure to stick around for the advice/tweaks/apps etc available here
