Guest chilledatthebottom
I've just set my VarioIII up to collect my gmail in outlook, it automagically had the "recent:" bit added to my username, and low and behold, it is still only downloading 379 emails <_< I get more than that a day! (aye, I kid you not... I get a LOT of email, not spam either ;) )

(aye, I kid you not... I get a LOT of email, not spam either ;) ) You're having the reverse problem of most, usually people don't want that many e-mails forwarded along! That's what the "recent:" thing is for, try taking that out of the username field. Aside from that I'd suggest using the GMail Java app. Why do you get so many e-mails? What the heck do you do with all of them?
Guest Webreaper
He's probably on a mailing list. I'm on a couple of lists, one of which has been known to average 600 emails/day over a whole month. ;)

Guest chilledatthebottom
Why do you get so many e-mails? What the heck do you do with all of them? I run one of the Freecycle Yahoogroups in Wales... We're pretty busy  (I have subsequently created a second gmail account specifically for Freecycle, so as not to clog up my inbox on my phone) Incidentally, Outlook on the desktop allows you to create filters to push incoming mails into folders. Is there a way/workaround on the Pocket Outlook? Couldn't see one myself ;)
Guest Nick Le Lievre
i have a problem with a gmail. for some reason whenever i send an email form gmail on my comp it gets sent to my inbox on my phone very strange. It only happens if you are sending mail through gmails web access - it doesn't happen if you send one via POP3. If you send a mail via web access it sends a copy to your POP3 inbox so that you can move it into your sent items. Its so that you can keep your web access and pop3 mailbox in sync. If you send a mail via POP3 however it automatically puts a copy in the sent items of your web access just not vice versa.
