Hey guys, first post here. I have been trying to get the GPS to work with a host of different apps other then telenav and have had no luck. Can someone please provide me with step by steps to get this to work. I have tried google maps, yahoo 2 go etc. and have had no luck. I tried messing w/ external gps settings but no luck. I just reset it to factor settings and still no luck. So any tips would be great!! Thanks!!!

Should work in anything, just set the application to use com4 at 57600 (or in fact any speed)...

Give it a go, if you have a specific issue, let us know, sure we can help.

A guy over at 4WinMobile has a great explanation up. Give this link a try:

I don't recommend the GPS Info program. Use Holux's GPSViewer instead to acquire a fix and see the raw data of your GPS device.

You can obtain Holux GPS Viewer from this site (the first link, GpsViewer1.5.zip):

TomTom is the only software, that comes with the phone, that has the whole map of your choice saved. You'll need a data plan if you want to use it with google maps or msn live.
