Guest drellmsu Posted October 15, 2007 Report Posted October 15, 2007 I installed Yahoo GO to my AT&T Kaiser on the AT&T Rom.. doesn't work. Everytime I try to load it says error, please restart. Tried restarting, tried reseting, nothing. Any ideas or suggestions? I was looking forward to trying it out too. I know lots have it working.. Why doesn't it work for me? Thanks in advance!

I've heard of some people having issues with Storage Card installs, this seems to be something different however! I assume you're using the PPC version? Point your device at http://go.modaco.com to automagically get the right CAB!

I did point my browser there, I got one version there, one version here, reinstalled each multiple times, to no avail. Even think i found a version somewhere else that i tried, nothing. When I start it, it asks for country, then when I chose US, it thinks for a minute then errors out, usually saying around .1 megs of data in the bottom, and to restart Yahoo Go. It never has prompted me to allow data connections to it. I have plenty of Storage and Memory free, so don't know what the problem is.
Guest Paul (MVP) Posted October 15, 2007 Report Posted October 15, 2007 And you have a working data connection with no proxy configured right? Hmmm, thinking about it, there's that AT&T 'hidden proxy' on the Tilt, try disabling that (with the disable proxy option in the programs menu!) P

Downloaded Yahoo go to new Tytn 2 on Friday night, every time I tried to install it said Yahoo Go has had a problem and needs to be restarted. Gave up after fourth time...Happened over 3g and wifi... Update - just tried it again (Monday lunchtime) and it worked... Edited October 15, 2007 by jimbouk

I tried it like 10 times today, 20times last night.. with or without the proxy, soft resets galore... and right before I was going to post that it still didn't work.. IT FINALLY SIGNED IN. Umm does it stay signed in or do I have to hope and pray each time? Thanks for your guys input
